Keeping ourselves fit to improve our immune systems

Keeping ourselves fit and well has never been so important!

 The past year has taught us all the importance of keeping ourselves fit and well in order to boost our immune systems.

Over the course of the lockdowns, since last March, I have been offering free POUNDfit classes via Zoom, twice a week.

POUNDfit is a fun, cardio, full body toning workout that is suitable for all ages and abilities. It is good for mental health and helps to keep the brain active. It is also great for increasing flexibility!

It is suitable for all ages: the youngest participant in our group is 16 and the oldest is…(well, it would be rude to divulge!)

The exercise routines involve the use of specialised drumsticks and it is all accompanied by fantastic music with a good, heavy beat.

We are now allowed to meet once again in the Parish Hall on Monday and Friday evenings at 6pm. Charges for classes are minimal – just enough for me to cover my monthly costs.
